Ice Castles in Cripple Creek to Close for the Season

Cripple Creek, CO, 2025 - Winter is quickly winding down, and with it one of the season’s most cherished attractions closes for the season on Saturday, March 8. Visitors have one more weekend to check out the icy fortress before Ice Castles closes..
Over the 11 week season, thousands of people visited and enjoyed the icy fortress's ice slides, ice-carved tunnels, and towers of cascading ice that lit up at night.
